Marie Antoinette

I’ve always been fascinated with Marie Antoinette story!
At the age of fourteen, on the day of her marriage to Louis-Auguste, Dauphin of France, she became Dauphine de France. At the death of King Louis XV, in May 1774, her husband ascended the French throne as Louis XVI, and Marie Antoinette assumed the title of Queen of France and of Navarre. After seven years of marriage she gave birth to a daughter, Marie-Thérèse-Charlotte de France, the first of their four children.

So, one more time seen movie Marie Antoinette I was inspired to create a necklace in Antoinette style!

I’ve always adored with Lewis Carroll’s “Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There”! So I was inspired for creation of this necklace by that book! I used pieces of vintage mirror, finest pure merino wool 18 mic, faux pearls, cotton & viscose thread, beautiful vintage button.

EYE of Providence. Couture Textile Jewelry collection

I’ve inspired to create that collection of all-seeing eye. The Eye of Providence, or the all-seeing eye, is a symbol showing an eye surrounded by rays of light or a glory. Imagery of an all-seeing eye can be traced back to Egyptian mythology and the Eye of Horus. It also appears in Buddhism. In Medieval and Renaissance European iconography, the Eye was an explicit image of the Christian Trinity.
